Expressive Emoji: Printmaking, Drawing and Reader’s Theater

Symbols, signs and icons surround us in our daily lives. Now we invite YOU to explore, through printmaking techniques and illustration, the world of emojis.  We’ll come up with our own silly and serious symbols to express everyday thoughts and feelings. We’ll also have a seriously good time acting out short stories in drama!  You may sign up online to become a member (to the left under Membership.)

• Age Requirement: 5, must have completed kindergarten in the 2015-2016 school year, to 12.
• Time: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Child-care before (7:30-9:00) and after camp (3:30-5:30) is available for an additional fee. Sessions are one week-long (Mon-Fri, except for The Clayground**) 
• Location: Art Museum of South Texas**
• Additional paperwork MUST be filled out by the start of the first day of camp.
• Children are asked to bring their own lunch and snack; microwave and refrigerator are not available.
• Each registered child will receive only one camp t-shirt for the 2017 summer camp season, regardless of multiple registrations.
  

 **All other sessions are held at the Art Museum of South Texas. The Clayground (Session 7) is a two-week session (Mon-Fri) which is held at the Antonio E. Garcia Center.

By registering for this session, you agree to our Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations with full refund minus a $50 processing fee are accepted in writing up to 30 days before the first day of the camp session. Tuition is not refundable for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the camp session. No refunds due to illness or weather conditions although every effort will be made to reschedule classes canceled due to hurricane threats/conditions.
